Vactor Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation and an industry-leading brand of sewer cleaning and vacuum excavation equipment, today has announced that it will be unveiling the Vactor® 2100i, a revolutionary new combination sewer cleaner, at the 2018 WWETT Show in Indianapolis.

As successor to the acclaimed Vactor® 2100 Plus, the Vactor 2100i redefines simplicity with Vactor’s brand-new IntuiTouch® one-touch control system by bringing advanced, yet intuitively simple controls designed to maximize operator efficiency. New features inside the cab include a seven-inch screen with backlit tactile buttons and one-touch control for quick startup and engagement. Outside the cab, operators will find a single control panel including a seven-inch dashboard screen with touchscreen and glove-friendly buttons featuring at-a-glance data for maximum efficiency. In addition, the new articulating controls adjust to the desired location for the operator’s optimal placement.

Once again setting an industry standard in build quality and operator ease, the Vactor 2100i couples unmatched durability with enhanced ergonomics for complete operator comfort and effectiveness. Furthermore, the all-new RDB1015™ Rapid Deployment Boom telescopes 10 feet out and extends the debris hose down 15 feet, minimizing the need for additional tubes, speeding and easing operation in a wide range of dynamic applications.

“When we launched the original Vactor® 2100 Plus nearly a decade ago, we set the bar with technological innovation and customized design,” said Brandon Shelton, product manager at Vactor Manufacturing.

“Now, in 2018, we are revolutionizing the industry again with the launch of the 2100i, a state-of-the-art product that combines intuitive simplicity and operational ease with the most advanced technology available. To say we are excited would be an understatement,” Shelton added.
