New 5x5 Boom and CB Nozzle

STREATOR, Ill. (April 5, 2005) —Vactor® Manufacturing now offers two new solutions that cut the time and hassle of catch-basin cleaning: a telescopic and extendable 5x5 boom and an extendable Catch Basin nozzle.

The new 5x5 boom, optional on the Vactor 2100 Series, telescopes outward five feet along with an additional five feet of vertical movement, for a dramatic increase in boom coverage area.

With no need to tear down and set up pipes between every catch basin, the combination of the new Vactor boom and the CB nozzle dramatically increases the efficiency of the 2100 Series. Catch-basin cleaning with these new features is faster than ever before.
The new boom's productivity improvements include:

• Significant increase in the number of catch basins cleaned per day
• Improved efficiency, whether a municipal crew or a contractor is doing the job
• Simplified operation due to less pipe and clamp handling, lifting and storing
Catch Basin Nozzle

The new Catch Basin nozzle is designed to fit a standard 8-inch vacuum system and consists of an aluminum pipe nestled inside a flexible section of hose. This extendable nozzle is attached by a simple clamp. The nozzle provides seven feet of reach in the fully collapsed position and can extend an additional five feet for a total of 12 feet.
The Vactor 2100 Series has a long reputation for being the most productive sewer cleaner on the market. The new boom and CB nozzle continue the Vactor tradition of handling all applications with speed, thoroughness and agility.

The Vactor 2100 Series is available in PD and fan models with debris capacities from 3 to 15 cubic yards and water capacities from 500 to 1,700 gallons.
