Vactor Earns International Recognition

STREATOR, Ill. (October 13, 2005) — After more than 24 months of preparation, evaluation and third-party on-site audits, Vactor Manufacturing, Inc., announced today it has been certified by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. for ISO registration based on the 9001:2000 standards. The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards are applied in more than 140 countries around the world. This ISO registration covers the Streator, Illinois, facility.

Through this registration process, Vactor Manufacturing, Inc. has built a new quality management system that focuses on continuous improvement through consistent implementation of best practice procedures across its design, manufacturing, and customer service processes.

Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. was the evaluator that closely screened the management procedures and overall operations of Vactor Manufacturing, Inc.
